Manchester United have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce.
The Turkey international has signed a four-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
Bayindir has joined United for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £4.3million.
The goalkeeper told United’s website: “It is a huge honour to join Manchester United and become the first Turkish player to represent this incredible club.
“I have a passion for success and I will give everything to help this special group of players to achieve our ambitions.”
Bayindir will replace Dean Henderson, who joined Crystal Palace in a £20million deal last night.
