Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly considering a move for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Arsenal are looking to sign a new central midfielder and the Portugal international has become one of the candidates, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Gunners have also been linked with Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz, but the report claims that they have now turned to Palhinha.
Palhinha came close to joining Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich last summer, but a deal fell through as Fulham failed to bring in a replacement for the midfielder.
The arrival of Palhinha at the Emirates could spell the end of Thomas Partey’s time at the club.
