The Irish striker and his teammates Tobias Hysen and Marton Fulop, missed the team bus to Barnsley in March.
He told the Evening Chronicle: “There are one or two things I would change, decisions I made and things that I regret – like missing that bus – but you have to learn from these things and move on. Once you learn, that’s the important thing.
“It’s been up and down a bit to be honest. I had one or two upsets with Roy Keane but that’s been put aside now and he’s been fine about it.
“After missing the bus, Roy called me into the office, sat down and said that was the end of the situation and it was forgotten about.”
