Mihaylov told Bulgarian media Topsport: “I have information that everything has been agreed. Fiorentina’s goalkeeping coach was very pleased with my performance during the trials at the club.
He added: “I have heard that the Italian media have announced my transfer but I still have not signed officially. This should happen next week when I will go to Florence.
“I know that people from Fiorentina contacted my father [Borislav Mihaylov, president of the Bulgarian FA] who is dealing with the transfer. They told him to go with me to Italy on Monday in order for me to pass the medical tests and sign the contract.
“I do not know yet how long the contract will be. This will become clear on Monday.”
