According to the Roma Web site Rimini will get £2.4m in three instalments plus another £1.2m over three years, while the player himself is believed to have netted £3.3m.
The 22 year-old was being tracked by a number of other clubs in Serie A, Milan and Inter among them, and also by Premiership sides Spurs and Arsenal.
