Nasri have been linked with moves to Italian giants Inter and Arsenal earlier this year.
Nasri told skysports.com: “Chairman Pape Diouf told me Manchester City were interested in me. I love the English mentality.
“Tottenham are a big club, they nearly reached the Champions League last season. They play beautiful football.
“But my agent didn’t tell me about it, because I have to stay focused on the pitch.”
“I have been playing with the pros since 3 years now, and I know everybody. I feel very comfortable because I have kept a part of innocence.
“If the club was qualified in Europe every year, I could remain here all my career. A career like (Paolo) Maldini, playing for a single club, would be fantastic.
“I represent the immigration kids. People say I show a good image, that makes me happy. I come from the suburbs and I try to act as an example. People can achieve great things, thanks to hard work.”
