Triaud told French daily L’Equipe: “It is true, he is our priority trail.
“We are in talks with Charlton about a definitive transfer. Diawara has a big advantage as he knows Ligue 1 perfectly well.
“We are improving and we hope to settle that case quite quickly, but he would not be able to join us before Le Championnat starts [this weekend].”
