Jol said: “There is more pressure now because people expect more this season.
“That is not easy because we have young players. Arsenal will have the same pressure — although they have a little more experience than us.
“It will be easy for Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United because they have experienced squads.
“For that reason, it’s a bit harder for Spurs and Arsenal than the top three.
“Our turnover is half of Arsenal’s and we have to compete on the pitch but I don’t use that as an excuse.
“I believe we have an English spine plus a lot of talent in our squad and so the sky is the limit.
“We can achieve whatever we want if our mentality is right.”
