He added: “It is always difficult to win the Premier League but we have bought four great players in Tevez, Nani, Anderson and Owen Hargreaves.
“So we don’t just want to win the league, we want to win the Champions League as well.
“They are all great players. I am looking forward to playing with all of them because I am sure they will help the team a lot.
“We have a week to prepare before the serious games start. We are not at 100 per cent yet but at least we have started off the way we wanted by winning the Community Shield against Chelsea.”
