Joaquin was offered £10million-a-year to join Chelsea, but he turned them down and joined Valencia instead.
He said: “Roman Abramovich and Jose Mourinho tried to convince me but I would not have been as happy as I am now at Valencia. I did not accept and I do not regret it.”
