He said: “I want to be president of Real Madrid. When I finish playing, I would like to continue in football, first as a coach of young players and soon if God wants to be like Camacho, Del Bosque or Irureta.
“Little by little, as I mature I would like to be president.
“I have been with Madrid since I was eight years old and being a fan of Real Madrid since I was four, for that reason I would like to be president.”
He added: “I think I can play at my very best until I am 35. But I would like to continue until I am 38. I do not want to ever leave Real Madrid.
“I’ve seen reports about renewing my contract, but I am happy with the current situation.”
