Teixeira has been out of action for six months due to a knee injury.
“We hope he gets permission to get back into light training this week,” club boss Tony Mowbray told BBC Sport.
“I would hope he’ll be back on the training ground next week. It’s too early to set a comeback date. We’ll see how he is.”
