“In certain respects I do resemble him a little bit. He is one of the all-time greats of football, so I cannot help but be overjoyed at the comparison,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“My reasoning is simple – Zico is a legend, so if they are comparing me to him it must mean I’ve done something right.
“In any case, this doesn’t weigh down on me and if anything adds further motivation. I never pull back when it’s time to take responsibility, whether good or bad.”
