“Ancelotti is starting his eighth campaign with Milan and I think few tacticians can boast such a long run at a single club,” said Galliani.
“Ancelotti does not run any risk, even if we lost today, but he would do well to stop losing. This isn’t an issue with the Coach, it is a problem that we have played eight games since the end of July and lost seven of them. This just won’t do.
“The Coach running a risk is not what is up for debate here, but undoubtedly Milan’s performances right now are insufficient. That doesn’t mean I want to change the Coach, but it is the job of a director to give his technical staff some guidance.”
