Sporting lost the Champions League clash 3-1.
Rochemback said: “We did not start well but when we suffered the first goal we had a different mentality and we started playing better.
“At 2-1, we were all on attack but Barcelona, with the quality players they have, managed to make it 3-1 and demonstrated why they are serious contenders.”
He added: “We knew this could happen, but we have to think about ourselves and start thinking about getting the three points in the next game.”
