Torino scored an own goal and hit the woodwork several times during the clash.
“We knew how strong Inter were and tried to play our game, but every incident seemed to go against us,” De Biasi told RAI.
“First the own goal, then Douglas Maicon’s shot ricocheted in off the underside of the bar. After those moments, Inter were able to control the match by focusing entirely on the counter-attack.
“The 3-1 result does not reflect the performances at all. We went so close to re-opening it at the end with Julio Cesar’s fantastic save, while we hit the frame of the goal twice.
“I am proud to say Torino maintained their characteristics regardless of the fact they were facing Inter.”
