Raul has had a poor start to the season but hit back and scored two goals last night against Sporting Gijon.
Robben scored one goal in the match that saw Real madrid demolish Sporting Gijon 7-1.
“I’m happy with how the game unfolded. It was a beautiful match for us and the fans,” said Robben to the club’s official website.
“We had many chances and we scored seven goals in 70 minutes and I think the team has become more confident in the last few games.
“The whole team is happy for Raúl because he is our captain and a very important player to us. He did a good job.”
