“I always knew I had an excellent team at my disposal,” Rossi told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“The secret was changing things around during the summer. Myself and [Claudio] Lotito spoke about changing the team in order to create more competition and it has worked.
“However, we still need to improve further and we must continue to work hard.
“We are a young and motivated group but it would be silly to say or think that we don’t need to improve.”
