Acquafresca is currently on loan at the club and is expected to return to Genoa in the summer.
“I exclude this possibility,” confirmed the agent, Paolo Fabbri, to calcionews24.net.
“This is because for it to happen, certain things must occur which I deem to be impossible.
“He will remain in Bergamo until June, for sure. Return to Genoa in June? Surely yes. He is part of the Genoa project. I would be surprised, with the time of organisation it has, would send him to play away again for another season.
“Last season everything happened a bit quickly, with players like [Hernan] Crespo and [Sergio] Floccari arriving, therefore this was the best solution.
“However, with this anticipation in order to be able to organise better the next moves, I think that they will let him return.”
