Globoesporte has reported that Brazilian side Santos were keen on signing the striker.
“Adriano to Santos? This is not true at all. It is just a made up invention to put pressure on the player,” Adriano’s agent Gilmar Rinaldi told Vocegiallorossa.it.
“I have said it many times before that Adriano will not leave Roma.
“I am not in contact with any club because the player want to show he is worth something in the capital. I can categorically deny the reports.”
