West Brom, Fulham and Norwich have all been linked with the young Aalborg striker.
“I will not talk about the names of clubs who have approached, but they are English clubs, who thought that he is an interesting player,” Helenius’ agent Mads Bach Lund told Bold.
“He is a natural goalscorer in the view of that he has scored 14 times last season.
“If the opportunity presents itself to play in the Premier League, I think almost regardless of which player you are, it’s exciting.
“But the most important for Nicklas is that there is a clear plan in relation to his development as there are still many things that he should work on.
“Maybe he’s not ready to play in the Premier League right now, but he has time on his side, and therefore it is important to say that there is a plan in relation to his development if he is to change clubs.
“But as always, I can only refer the interested clubs to AaB, for it is in AaB that will release him.”
