The youngster impressed for the Viola when he made a substitute appearance at Napoli last weekend.
“Babacar is willing to learn and has a strong character,” the representative, Franco Rondanini, told La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
“His idol is Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. Just look at how he moves, they are identical. ‘Baba’ is a force of nature.”
Babacar joined Fiorentina from Pescara in 2008.
Rondanini said: “One day, before he joined Fiorentina, emissaries from Real Madrid and Manchester United approached his parents and offered them €600,000.
“But it was to no avail. When he netted his first goal for the Viola against Chievo in the Coppa Italia, he called his parents and was crying with joy.
“I talked to them and thanked them because they had not taken back their promise.”
