Huntelaar has been linked with a move to Premiership leaders Manchester United in recent months.
Vincenzo Morabito said: “Juventus has been scouting the player, even if for now there has been nothing concrete. It’s clear that we are speaking about a forward unlike many in Europe, the new Van Nistelrooy.
“Sooner or later he’ll leave Ajax, but his price is very high and there aren’t many clubs in a position to acquire him.”
