German daily Kicker reported on Tuesday that Arsenal had made a €40million bid for the 19-year-old midfielder.
“Mario will stay at Dortmund, for sure, the next two years. There is no chance of him going to another club this window,” Gotze’s agent Volker Struth told Goal.
“This is because he is so young and it is too early in his career for him. The club, the player and his family, we are all of one mind that it is better for him to stay there because he is happy at Dortmund.”
Gotze’s current contract with Borussia Dortmund is set to expire in 2014.
Struth added: “When there is a big club who want Mario, Dortmund have to tell the club that there is no chance. In any case, they will not sell him. In two or three years, who knows? I don’t know what will happen then.”
