Agger is unhappy with his current role as back-up defender at Anfield and may been keen on a move away from the club in January.
Jamie Carragher and Martin Skrtel is currently manager Rafael Benitez’ preferred central-defenders, but Agger wants the Spaniard to confirm whether he has a first-team future at the club.
Agger lost his plase in the starting eleven due to an injury last season.
