“Last year, we had a negotiation to set his buy-out clause at €55 million, which will be increased to €60 million this year, and that has already come into effect,” he explained at a press conference.
“At the moment, we are not going to review his clause again and we are very calm about his future. Moreover, he has shown that he is not interested at all in leaving Atlético Madrid,” he added.
Aguero has been linked to several clubs over the summer, including Spanish rivals Real Madrid.
