Al Fahim, who still holds a 10 per cent stake in the club, admits he would love to see Zaki at Fratton Park.
“It’s not my decision, it is up to Paul Hart and Avram Grant but I would like to see Amir Zaki,” he told The News.
“He loves Portsmouth. He calls me almost every week and he wants to be part of the Portsmouth team.
“He is a player who could add value. The price we could get him for is also good.”
