Ambrosini said: “If it were up to me, this is where I would end my career. We will see what happens before the end of the year.
“I hope I will be given other opportunities to shine, there are still three months to play before the end of the season and we will try to do our best in both Serie A and the Champions League.
“I am finally feeling well after recovering from my injury. Sometimes you are too eager to return, but it is right to play only when you are 100 per cent fit.”
