Ancelotti said: “Ronaldo has played a super 90 minutes. He has had to stop, which is normal given his lack of football, but has offered a performance of great importance, for him and us.
“That was the great player we all know of. Ronaldo deserves all this praise.
“The reasons why he chose Milan are simple: he has the intention to recover his best form again and to do that he needs the motivation a club like Milan can offer.”
