Anelka said: “We are not doing badly in the league but the most difficult thing is to learn a new style of football.
“It is not really the game I have been used to. This is something very different.
“I have not had a lot of goalscoring opportunities, but once I have adapted properly to this style of play, I will put the chances away.
“I would like to play again in the position that I have become used to over a long time but the coach (Sam Allardyce) decides.
“I am not alone up front at all. I also work for the team.”
