Arbeloa joined the Premier League side from Deportivo La Coruna for £2.6million in 2006.
Recently he has been linked with a return to Spain and La Liga side Atletico Madrid.
Arbeloa have just one more season to run on his current contract.
He said: “The dream of everyone is to win the league as it is 18 years since we last did it and it hurts. But it will not be easy.”
