The 20-year-old has been linked with clubs such as Arsenal and Spurs after impressing for Palermo.
The Uruguayan striker joined Palermo from Penarol in 2009.
He told Mediaset Premium: “Arsenal want me? I’m very good at Palermo, both in the town and with my team-mates.
“I’d love to stay another two or three years here, because it would make me grow. Then in the future if there will be an offer by a great club, we’ll see.
“My first experience I had in Italy during a trial with Genoa, they didn’t take me for my heart problems, while Palermo believed in me and got me the surgery.
“For this also, I’ll always thank the Rosanero club.”
