The Gunners chief said: “I asked the team to go until the very last minute because we scored in the last five minutes at Old Trafford.
“I told them ‘Continue to play until the last minute because remember at Old Trafford we scored in the last five minutes’.
“I didn’t say they crumble in the last 20 minutes. I just said ‘Let’s go until the last five’.
“Of course afterwards there was a big analysis that they concede more goals in the last 20 minutes. But most of the time that is because they are leading and teams have a go at them.”
