If Arsenal manage to get a draw or win at home against Chelsea they will end the Blues dream of the Premiership title.
He told the People: “Our mission is to make sure Chelsea don’t win the title and say goodbye to their chances of winning the league against us.
“I don’t think Manchester United will let the league get away from them whatever happens this week in London. United have played better this season and have been more consistent.”
He added: “There are lots of rumours about me but it is not affecting my game. Arsenal are my club and that is where my future lies. I came last summer for a long project and not for a single season. I have not had any contact with anyone at Real Madrid. I am very happy at Arsenal and it is not entering my head to leave.
“It hasn’t been the best first season for me because of my injuries and because of the results, but we are still fighting for third place – we got to the Carling Cup Final and have qualified for the Champions League.
“These derbies are very important and this is our last home game of the season so that makes it even more important.
“Chelsea will come into the game with their morale hit by getting knocked out of the Champions League. But I am sure that they will give everything to beat us.
“I saw the game at Anfield – it could have been sorted out before penalties. It was close but Liverpool were the better team and had more chances to win it. When a team loses, everyone is to blame – all the players and the manager. And that has what has happened with Chelsea.
“I try to talk about Mourinho as little as possible, he belongs to my past. If I score against Chelsea of course I will celebrate.
“Arsenal have enormous potential. With the young players we have, we can be England’s No1 team again in the near future.”
