The 24-year-old has long been keen on leaving Arsenal in search for regular first-team football.
A statement on Everton’s official website said: “The formalities of the transfer will be finalised in the next 48 hours and Senderos will be on Merseyside this afternoon to watch his new team in action against Birmingham in the FA Cup fourth round.”
