The Sun reports that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is confident they can beat rivals Chelsea to the youngster’s signature.
Lukaku’s agent Christophe Henrotay held talks with Arsenal officials in London yesterday.
Henrotay is then expected to travel to Portugal, where his 18-year-old client is during pre-season with his club Anderlecht, for talks.
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also reportedly interested in the youngster.
