An Arsenal insider told the newspaper: “Freddie never saw it coming.
“He’s completely stunned.
“He has been frustrated by the amount of games he has played recently but his heart and soul has always been with Arsenal. He had no idea the club was planning to force him out. He can’t believe he’s been treated like this.”
