The Gunners are looking for around £45million for the midfielder, who joined the club on a free transfer from Barcelona in July 2003.
A source close to the Arsenal board told the Sunday Express: “Arsenal are a selling club – and every player has his price
“They dug their heels in last summer because Barcelona didn’t match their valuation. But they will let him go with their best wishes if they receive an offer that reflects what Fabregas is worth, which is around £45m.”
Fabregas has long been linked with a return to Spanish side Barcelona.
