Chu-Young was expected to join Lille, after the two clubs had agreed on a deal. But the deal has not been completed and reports suggest the forward is set to undergo a medical at Arsenal in the next 24 hours.
Lille president Michel Seydoux told L’Equipe: “We haven’t had a telephone call, nothing.
“From what we understand he could be at Arsenal.
“Like Monaco, Lille are baffled. Everything had been agreed.
“This type of behaviour is not acceptable, in any event it doesn’t correspond with the spirit here at Lille.”
