Arsenal face Birmingham in the Carling Cup final at the weekend.
“It is a great honour to play at Wembley as it has such a massive history,” he said in the Daily Mirror.
“It will be the first time for me to play there, so it will be a very big experience and something I am very proud to be involved in.
“Winning would mean a lot to us as a team.
“It would show how much we have learned, but it will be a difficult game and we will have to fight to win it.
“For me, it would be the icing on the cake – it was tough for me last year with injuries – and if we could win this it would be fantastic.”
He added: “A lot of people talk about how long it is since Arsenal have won a trophy, so to win our first one would remove some of that pressure.
“I hope it is the start of us winning a lot of trophies. We are still in competition for four.”
