Wenger told reporters ahead of the game against Fulham: “I think he is waiting to play in the centre and that is where he will be happiest because he is a direct player, he has good timing for his runs and I believe he will do well.”
“He will get a chance up front but he is not in the squad for Fulham because we play again on Tuesday and some have to practise to play on Tuesday,” added Wenger.
