The Mirror reports that Villa boss Gerard Houllier could make a move for the Lille striker as Norwegian star John Carew could be set to leave the club in January.
Gervinho joined Lille from Le Mans in a £6million deal two years ago.
The 23-year-old has previously been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham.
