England international striker Ollie Watkins is ready to sign a new long-term contract at Aston Villa.
Watkins have held talks with Villa over a new deal since the end of last season and reports now suggests they are close to agreeing terms.
The 27-year-old is a key part of manager Unai Emery’s plans at Aston Villa and his current contract is expiring in the summer of 2025.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea have shown and interest in the highly-rated striker in recent months, but Watkins is keen to stay at Villa Park.
