Caicedo is currently on loan at Levante and is not expected to have a future at Eastlands.
AS reports that Atletico Madrid are looking to bring in the 22-year-old as Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero have been linked with moves away from the club.
Levante has an option the loan deal permanent for €1million.
