Spanish newspaper AS reports that Atletico are keen for Aguero to sign a new long-term contract with the club.
Aguero’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2012.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly prepared to keep the existing buyout clause of €60million in a possible new deal.
