Barca are targeting the Spanish international as current No 1 Victor Valdes looks set to snub a new deal with the club.
Reina began his career at the Nou Camp and it is believed he would be interested in a return to the club.
Valdes wants around £150,000 a week to sign a new deal, as he only has a year left on his current deal.
