Silva joined City in a €33million deal from Valencia during the summer, but has failed to make an impact in the Premier League.
Spanish newspaper Sport reports that Barcelona could make a move for Silva in the January transfer window, if the winger’s situation at Eastlands fail to improve.
Barcelona were also linked with a move for the 24-year-old, before Silva joined City.
