Lamela is one of South America’s brightest prospects, and has long been compared with Lionel Messi.
Unlike Messi though, he turned down the chance to join the Catalans when he refused their advances aged 12, but they are set to come calling again with Lamela starring for the Argentines and set to leave this summer.
