Matarrese is currently holding talks with a group of investors over a deal.
“It’s true we are selling the club,” revealed the patrons’ son Salvatore Matarrese to Corriere dello Sport.
“We are willing to pass it on to someone else. We are currently negotiating with an investor, who seems serious and reliable.
“Several times we announced that we want to sell and now that there is an offer we are happy to do it.
“In the next few days there will be more meetings. We want to sell the whole thing but we don’t know whether they are interested in a partnership deal.”
