“I’m not going anywhere, I’m not walking,” insisted Barnes.
“Obviously, after losing 5-0 the pressure is greater. Pressure is what you make it and I’m trying to make the team play well.
“When it goes well you’re a hero. When it goes badly, you’re a villain.”
“[My profile] might be hindering people’s perception of the position we’re in,” he continued.
“Possibly if I’m not the manager then we would be getting a bit less attention, but we have lost seven out of eight games and no matter who you are, that’s not good.”
